In July 2005, Sheldon Lobel P.C. obtained a favorable determination from the Department of Buildings that the applicant’s right to complete the renovation of the home pursuant to the former R3-2 zoning district had vested since all construction was 100% complete prior to the zoning map amendment date, thereby avoiding the filing of a vested rights application with the BSA.
