Ms. Betan handles various land use, zoning, and real estate matters. She is experienced in representing clients for variance, special permit, amendment, extension of term and extension of time applications with the Board of Standards and Appeals. She also lobbies to the City Planning Commission for rezonings, special permits, and zoning certifications.

Prior to joining Sheldon Lobel, P.C., Ms. Betan was a Research Assistant at the Pace University Land Use Law Center. She advised municipalities in the implementation of land use strategies for sustainable development. Additionally, she served as the Promotions Editor on the Pace Environmental Law Review.
